The Pilot Elite Vintage Fountain Pen is a classic, compact Japanese pocket pen (reissued as the E95S) featuring an elegant, short-bodied design that extends to a full size when capped, equipped with a smooth 14-karat gold inlaid nib.

A classic black resin body adorned with gold accents exudes timeless elegance. Fitted with a luxurious 14K gold nib, it ensures seamless and consistent ink flow with excellent responsiveness. The vintage Elite features a semi-hooded 14K gold nib that writes very smooth, making it my very first gold nib experience for many collectors.

Lightweight and portable at 16g, it's the perfect companion for your pocket or travel adventures. It has a retro "long-short" design, which means it is compact (119mm capped / 120mm) for carrying and becomes a comfortable, full-sized pen (147mm posted / 158mm) when the long cap is posted for writing.

The body is black resin with an aluminium cap and gold-plated trim, featuring a sleek slim clutch mechanism. Pilot cartridges or short converters work with this pen—we ship it with a Pilot squeeze converter installed for immediate use with bottled ink.
